Phleum Pratense is a grass of great forage value, indicated for the formation of long-lasting pastures, mixed with other seeds. It is a tall and rustic grass of good production, with tasty leaves for cattle, highly recommended for forage mixtures for mowing and also for pastures. It adapts easily to cold and humid climates, but is sensitive to drought. Among the different varieties, the Climax variety stands out, with a late cycle and good winter production. Of excellent quality for food, it is used both in mowing and pasture crops.
